Organization
The Bhutan Archery Federation is headed by Lyonpo Kinzang Dorji who is the Hon'ble President. He is assisted in the overall administration and management of the Federation through an Executive Committee consisting of 4 Vice Presidents, Secretary General, Assistant Secretary General, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.
The Federation supports 23 Olympic archers at present - 13 boys and 10 girls. These archers are involved in continuous training all year round.
Duties of the Office Bearers:-
(a) President
Hon'ble Zhabtog Lyonpo - Minister for Ministry of Works & Human Settlement
(i) The President shall be the chief executive of the Federation. He shall preside over all meetings of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee. He may call meetings of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee as and when necessary.
(ii) He shall sign any deed, agreement, contract or instrument which the Federation is authorized to execute.
(iii) He shall be responsible for implementing the objectives of the Federation and dealing with disciplinary matters in the member Dzongkhag Associations. His decision regarding the disciplinary matters would be subject to ratification by the next meeting of the Executive Committee.
(iv) He shall also enjoy a casting vote in case of a tie in addition to his deliberative vote.
(v) He shall have the power to sanction upto Nu.10,000/- for any one item on behalf of the Federation. Expenditure in excess of this amount shall be sanctioned by the Executive Committee.
(vi) The President shall also ensure that various business meetings prescribed under these Rules are duly held.
(b) Vice President

(i) In the absence of the President, with the concurrence of the members of the Executive Committee, one of the Vice-Presidents shall represent the President. In these cases he shall exercise all the powers vested on the president.
(c) Secretary General
Mr.
Karma Y. Raydi - Director - SQCA, MoWHS
(i) He shall be responsible for the day-to-day work of the Federation in accordance with the decision of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee under the overall supervision of the President.
(ii) He shall issue notices and the agenda for all meetings and shall keep the minutes of all meetings held.
(iii) He shall be responsible for the safe custody of the records of the Federation.
(iv) He shall convene meetings of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee and any other committee or sub committee under the advice of the President.
(v) He shall receive all monies on behalf of the Treasurer in absence of the latter.
(vi) He shall perform such other duties assigned to him under the Rules.
(vii) He shall have the authority to spend upto Nu.1,000/- on any one item on behalf of the Federation.
(d) Joint Secretary
Mr. Jurmin Wangdi - Yangphel Tours & Trekking
(i) He will perform such duties as may be assigned to him by the President and/or Secretary General from time to time.
(e) Treasurer
Mr. Phuntsho Wangdi - National Housing Development Corporation
(i) He shall be the custodian of the funds of the Federation. He shall maintain all accounts, receive all monies on behalf of the Federation and issue formal receipts.
(ii) He shall pay all bills duly certified by the President or the Secretary General within the amounts passed in the budget approved in the Annual General Assembly Meeting. For expenditure not covered under the approved budget, sanction of the President/Executive Committee shall be duly obtained.
(iii) He shall prepare and submit for adoption by the Annual General Assembly Meeting, the Annual Statement of Accounts and the Budget for the next financial year.
(iv) He shall recommend the names of the Auditors and their remuneration to the Annual General Assembly Meeting for approval.
