1. ANNOUNCEMENT 
The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) is pleased to announce that the “2007 Coronation Shield Archery Tournament on Compound Bows” will be held from 2 June 2007 at the Changlingmethang National Archery Ground, Thimphu.
The BAF requests all the interested teams to send in the entry application along with the names of the 15 players with recent passport photograph by 12 AM on 31 May 2007 to the Bhutan Archery Federation. Not more than two seeded players will be allowed to play in one team comprising of fifteen players (including four spare players). Team Captains’ meeting will be held on the same day in the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Works and Human Settlements, Thimphu at 3.00 PM. A registration fee of Nu.5500/- per team may be deposited with the entry application.

2. ANNOUNCEMENT
The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) is pleased to announce the list of seeded players for the year 2007 for the two tournaments of the year. The seeding list consists of the 30 archers with the highest strike rates calculated from a minimum of 2 matches and 50 rounds in the two tournaments of 2006. This announcement supersedes all previous orders.

2. ANNOUNCEMENT 
The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) is pleased to announce the list of seeded players (traditional equipment) for the year 2007. The seeding is based on the performances of individual archers in the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck Memorial Archery Tournament, 2006, and the Druk Wangyel Archery Tournament, 2006. This announcement supersedes all previous orders.

The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) is pleased to announce that the “2006 National Autumn Archery Tournament on Compound Bows” will be held from 14 October 2006 at the Changlingmethang National Archery Ground, Thimphu.
The BAF requests all the interested teams to send in the entry application along with the names of the 15 players with recent passport photograph by 12 AM on 12 October 2006 to the Bhutan Archery Federation. Not more than two seeded players will be allowed to play in one team comprising of fifteen players (including four spare players). Team Captains’ meeting will be held on the same day in the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Works and Human Settlements, Thimphu at 3.00 PM. A registration fee of Nu.5500/- per team may be deposited with the entry application.
Please note that henceforth, teams may include upto 15 players (11 players and 4 spares) and no substitutions/changes will be allowed after registration of the teams on any ground whatsoever.

4. ANNOUNCEMENT
The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) is pleased to announce that the "2006 Coronation Shield Archery Tournament on Compound Equipment" will be held with effect from 2nd June 2006 at the Changlingmethang National Archery Ground, Thimphu.
The BAF requests all the interested Ministries, Dzongkhags, Organizations, Private teams to send in the entry application along with the names of the 13 players with recent passport photograph to the Secretary General, BAF, Thimphu. Team Captains meeting will be held in the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Works and Human Settlements, Thimphu. The date of the fixture date will be announced soon. It is reminded that not more than two seeded players will be allowed to play in one team and the use of imported finger tabs and arm guards is not permitted.

5. Appointment of New Vice Presidents
During the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Bhutan Archery Federation held on 19 May 2005, with a view to increasing the membership of the Executive Committee for improved performance of the Federation and to fulfil the requirements of the draft Constitution, it was decided to increase the number of VP’s to 6 (six). Following this decision, two sitting Vice Presidents of the Federation chose to resign and additional four members were nominated and selected to be the new Vice Presidents. The Vice Presidents of the Federation are now:
1. Col. Sonam Thondup, Chief, Royal Bhutan Police
2. Col. Kipchu Dorji, Royal Body Guards
3. Lt. Col. (Retd.) Rinzin Dorji
4. Gup Sonam Dukpa, Eastern Bhutan Coal Company
5. Dasho Ugyen Rinzin, Yangphel Enterprise
6. Mr. Nim Gyeltshen, Bhutan Archery
6. Yangphel Archery Tournament
The 10th Yangphel Archery Tournament which started from 22nd July at the National Archery Ground - Changlimithang is underway. The first round of league is completed and, the second round, knockout round is underway.
7. 2nd Asia Grand Prix Archery Tournament 
A team of 9 members consisting of 4 male and 4 female archers and led by the Assistant Secretary of the Federation, Mr. Jurmin Wangdi, left for Malaysia on 21 July to take part in the 2nd Asia Grand Prix Archery Tournament to be held in Kuala Lumpur from 21 to 28 July 2006. The team will take part in the tournament as part of its preparations for the 10th SAF Games which will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 18 August to 29 August 2006. The team consists of the following members:
